Below are nine important tips based on a powerful weapon called "PERSISTENCE". This could be the key to your success in business and for making more money this year. If you will adapt this one powerful success habit that all real winners have, no matter what, you will eventually succeed.
1.) The last thing you want to be is a "LIFER". A lifer is someone who floats from one business opportunity to the next one never accomplishing anything. You must be strong enough to stick with something and be persistent. Whatever business opportunity that you decide to run with, if you persist at it long enough, you will succeed.
2.) Don't listen to or associate with LOSERS. Listening to others who have excuses for why they failed in business or in life can be contagious. Just because they can come up with many reasonably convincing excuses for their string of bad luck doesn't mean you have to bite the bullet as well. An excuse is really just the "skin of a lie" stuffed with a reason. Associate with successful business people who will be a positive influence on you instead.
3.) WINNERS NEVER QUIT and QUITTERS NEVER WIN. The grand prize is not at the beginning of a journey. We don't always know how many steps it's gonna will take to reach our goals and our dreams. Thomas Edison failed 3,000 times before he successfully created the light bulb.
Most people quit or throw in the towel right when they are just around the corner from reaching their pot of gold. This is an all too common mistake that has been made by millions. You never know just how close you are to hitting pay dirt unless you are willing to take just one more step.
4.) Persistence is harnessing the power of REPETITION. Think about the constant drop of water that makes its mark in stone over time. This demonstrates the power of consistent repetition. You must realize that if you continue to work your business goals your dreams will eventually materialize even if it doesn't seem like you are getting anywhere at first. Small repeated attempts in the right direction are what successful business people are all about.
5.) Remove the word "CAN'T" from your vocabulary. Just as a real conqueror never considers defeat, you must remove from your vocabulary loser words like quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, hopeless and retreat for these are the words of fools. Even if depression takes hold of you, keep your eyes on your goals and on your dream because up above today's gray clouds is an endless blue sky and the stars are beyond that.
6.) Use the LAW OF AVERAGES to your favor knowing that with each failure you will be greatly increasing your chances for profits and success at the next attempt. Each misfortune carries with it the seed of equal success.
Each failure is simply the process of elimination that you must go through until you finally become successful. The crybabies, the quitters and the couch potatoes will all still be at home and their lives unchanged. They will still be working for a boss (or wishing they had a job) while you are out playing in the sun on the beach somewhere.
7.) Learn to jump over, go around or run through OBSTACLES. Become like one of the defensive line in football that smashes through the line of offense of the opposing team and crushes the quarterback to win the game.
8.) NEVER allow any day to end with failure. Do something everyday to get yourself closer to reaching your business goals. End each day successfully. This sets you up for more success the next day and gives you a distinct advantage over those who wimp out on days that "just didn't seem to go very well".
9.) Never let yesterday's victories keep you from achieving greater success today. Strive to make each day your greatest business day ever. Persistence is one of the greatest success habits you will ever possess as an entrepreneur.
Don't let COMPLACENCY keep you from being productive either. If riches multiply ignore them. Treat each day as if you were starting all over again. Strive to make each business day your very best. Complacency is the great time-waster and foundation for failure.
